Poetry is easy,

Even if it's cheesy.

Unclog your brain.

Don't puff and strain.

Take some time

And form a rhyme.

Think a bit.

Find words that fit.

Have a go.

Just let it flow.

That's right, don't fight,

Keep it nice and light.

You're nearly there.

Now take some air.

Breathe in deep.

Don't fall asleep!

You're closing fast...

A New Year's Acrostic

Here's another little rhyme

As happy as can be.

Perhaps you'll see a message

Purpose-built for you from me.

Yesterday has come and gone.

Now is a brand new start.

Everyone's wished great happiness,

With love straight from the heart.

You're always in my thoughts and prayers

Each day when I awake,

And I hope you all can stick to the

Resolutions that you make! 

May 2026 be a blessed year for all my friends and family,

With love and huge hugs from me!
